Mona Electric Group, Inc was hired by the Kennedy Center to replace their existing Edwards Fire Alarm system with a new simplex 4100 FCP fire alarm system. The Kennedy Center is located on 17 acres overlooking the Potomac River in Washington DC. It is America’s living memorial to President John F. Kennedy and is the busiest art facility in the United States. The Kennedy Center presents over 2,000 performances and welcomes over 2 million visitors each year. Mona completed the fire alarm installation, which included over 5,500 fire alarm devices, without any interruption to performances. The project was awarded the WBC Craftsmanship Award for special systems.
